We all struggle at some point in our lives, and some of us have experienced horrible trauma and atrocities. No matter what life sends our way, there is always a way to find peace, love, and happiness. This short film (approximately 20 minutes) will inspire people to create peace in their lives in spite of anything they may have experienced.
“Boy Searching For Peace” has been crafted to cause a cathartic experience for the viewer so that they may experience peace in their lives, no matter what their life experience has been. This story is about the worst case scenario and how we can find purpose and meaning in even the darkest of times.
“Boy Searching For Peace” will inspire people to take a stand for peace, and to save and protect children so that nobody ever has to experience what my father had ever again.

Why “Boy Searching For Peace”?
My name is Elle de Champagne and I’m the writer, director, and producer of “Boy Searching For Peace”.
My father was 8 years old when his country was invaded. He was deeply traumatized, and as the child of a child of war, I was deeply traumatized as well. Since an early age, my father told me the atrocities that he witnessed and survived.
Unfortunately, the stories continue to this day. According to UNICEF, in the past decade over 2,000,000 children have died as a direct result of armed conflict! Who is to say how many more have survived only to suffer the nightmares of what they lived and witnessed and then pass on the trauma to their children.
There have been many inspiring people over the years who have been extremely outspoken against war and who have helped to transform the outlook of many.
Two in particular are Martin Luther King Jr. and Mother Teresa.
We want to inspire people to change anger and hate to love.
Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa once said that she would never participate in any anti-war demonstration but would always be willing to go to a pro-peace rally. In other words, in order to end war, we must to focus on creating peace.
In order to end war, we must focus on peace.
Martin Luther King Jr.
Similarly, Martin Luther King Jr. believed that the only way to end hatred is with love.
I believe that by inspiring people to love, in spite of anything they may have experienced, we can bring an end to these atrocities.
We need to stoke the fires that Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr. and countless others have built and “Boy Searching For Peace” will do just that.
This story will help end the needless suffering of millions. It is dedicated to my father and the millions of children who suffer and have suffered.
The only way to end hatred is with love.
